The development of composites, biomaterials pharmaceuticals and other multicomponent systems belongs to the tradition of the Organic Chemical Technology Department and a research group of 20 scientists is currently researching health- and environmental friendly systems. Synthesis of new additives, analysis and modification of surface and interfacial layers are the common background behind these areas. The theoretical and practical findings of the department led to achievements in of many areas of material science. The research group has been selected to co-ordinate EU projects and to organise international conference.
