From 1997: full professor (BME Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology): Separation of racemic and non racemic enantiomeric mixtures, investigation of chiral supramolecular structures; regio and stereoselective reactions of polar organometallics, synthesis and application of chiral ligands; development of novel organic technologies for pharmaceutical industries.

1996-1997: associate professor (BME Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology): Separation of optical isomers, preparation and synthetic application of organolithium compounds.

1984-1996: research fellow (MTA-BME Organic Chemical Technology Research Group): development of pH-controlled resolutions via diastereoisomeric salt formation, resolution of racemates with structurally similar resolving agents, development of new methods for enantiomer separation of chiral amines, carboxylic acids and amino acid derivatives; development of regioselective metalation methods.

1977-1984: assistant research fellow (MTA-BME Organic Chemical Technology Research Group): Investigation of the separation efficiency-chemical structure realtionships during resolution and second order asymmetric transformations via distereoisomeric salt formation, development of the thermodinamic equilibrium model of resolution via diastereoisomeric salt formation.
